Abstract

For many researchers, satisfaction is a crucial topic of study, particularly the field of education, where it receives significant attention. There are studies that have explored the satisfaction of parents and students regarding their experiences with the school. However, studies on parental satisfaction are limited, especially in Romanian context. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that determine parental satisfaction. This study aims to explains whether perceived value, corporate image, service quality, convenience and communication are predictors of parent satisfaction. The research has a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, predictive approach. The population consisted of parents who enrolled their students in Seventh day-Adventist Schools in Romania, while the sample is made up of 297 parents participated in the study. The statistical technique of multiple linear regression was applied to test the hypothesis. It was found that perceived value is the most influential factor affecting parents’ satisfaction and accounted for 56.8% of its variance, followed by service quality at 31.3%, and convenience at 8%. Further research may use the findings of this study and investigate additional factors which influence parent satisfaction.
